Daily peak-to-average. We count how many days each site existed during the month, sum across sites on the same plan, and divide by days in the month. So 1 site for 31 days = 1× the plan rate. Mid-month signups only pay for the days the site existed.
Yes — and there's no proration headache. Days on each plan are billed separately at their rate. Upgrade for a busy month, scale back down. Pay only for what you actually used.
Max gives you lower per-site rates, pooled storage and bandwidth across your Small, Medium and Dev sites, and 5 free dev sites. The trade is a $50/mo minimum commitment. Standard has no minimum but no pooling and full per-site rates. Most teams running 5+ sites are better off on Max.
